A new lens comes into the fold , the amazing 35mm Summilux ASPH 1.4 .
This lens is the pre FLE version, ( The FLE having a floating element in it to combat potential focus shift ) . The pre FLE image rendering is supposed to be more 'gentle' with the FLE's fingerprint more clinical, almost too prefect. After spending many hours examining the difference by looking at photographs online made with both I came to the conclusion that it was pretty hard to tell them apart , certainly with web sized images. So for me it came down to cost , with the FLE coming in at an additonal $1500 it was a pretty easy decision to go with the older model :-)
Shot in my first hour with the lens around Xiangyang park, Shanghai.
